Bienvenue, in French means, welcome and we hope that's how you feel after a session with us. Inheritance Photography by J&O started from our passion to capture the light of our lives precious moments and we would love the honor of doing the same for you. We hope our time with you is filled with joy, laughter, and peace that leaves you feeling lighter and able to see the life and color that you bring to this world.
We serve primarily in Michiana (SW Michigan/NW Indiana). But are available throughout Michigan, Chicago, & Destinations. We've photographed weddings in California, Ohio, Colorado, Norway, The Netherlands, and France we're always up for new places.

Hey friends, Jonathan here. As a Colorado native, I love being in God's creation, and have a fine appreciation for nature landscapes, especially mountains! The way to my heart is through deep conversation over a delicious beverage. And I'm always down to play games. But be warned, I'm no stranger to Dad jokes.
With the camera, I'm usually the guy behind the scenes, capturing your burst of laughter after your lover whispers in your ear, or other candid moments throughout your session or wedding day you probably didn't even notice.
When I'm not behind the camera, I can be found teaching and counseling people in the ways of Jesus Christ.

The "O"
in J&O
Hey I'm Olivia, a SW Michigan native, you can usually find me feeding someone. I'm a self-proclaimed foodie but anyone who knows me will probably agree. On the outside I look pretty put together but inside I'm probably jamming out to a Vertical Worship or Queen song.
I have a passion to make your photo sessions fun, peaceful, and as natural as possible. My hope is that you leave your session feel more confident and encouraged in who you are and what you offer to this world. This passion comes from the grace I've found in Jesus's forgiveness of my past mistakes and his gift of showing me the value he not only sees in me but ever part of his creation.
If I'm not taking photos you can usually find me hosting old and new friends or enjoying the countryside or lake.
A bit about us and our adventure
When we met one of the main things that pulled us together was our heart for serving others. We both had a passion for championing people into their God-given gifts. What better way to do that than photography. Here are a few other things you may not know about us.
